Last Wednesday ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) something_fast told me we were going somewhere special and that it would take about an hour to get there, he had arranged mum to look after Dahlia while we went there... hmmm how sweet! I thought "a surprise" He is always full of little surprises for me, a gift here an unexpected kiss there....
Anyway off we went deciding to take public transport rather than the car, because </span> something_fast said we would have a few drinks there, and that of course is not good for driving.
We arrived at the place of our first real date,( a day long picnic in a beautiful garden, location's a secret sorry :) ) the most special place in the world to us... we went to the exact place where we spent that halcyon day 2 summers ago. I was so happy to be there, and so surprised! What a lovely thing I thought, to lay in the grass on our day off and have a drink at our special spot!
</span>But was I in for a real surprise...
After a little while of hugging and talking and reminiscing about this place he asked me to stand up....
And he got down on one knee and said the only thing that could make him happier in life, is if I would be his wife...
He produced a beautiful sparkling diamond and white gold engagement ring, held it up to me, looked me in the eyes and asked me to marry him.
I was so taken by surprise! So romantic, so beautiful, so perfect a proposal from the perfect man, who has given me a perfect daughter, and all the joy I thought my life would be without...
Of course I said yes!!!!!
He put this beautiful ring on my finger, and that's where it is staying....
ok ok... a picture of it...! You can't capture it's sparkle though... This is the best I could do photo-wise

White Lies- From The Stars |

Dahlia is 10 months old today, the time has gone so fast! So I thought I would post a picture taken of her yesterday...
She is crawling and standing now, is the cutest thing to see her crawl over to something, and stand up holding on to it, she looks over at us and bounces up and down, you can just tell she is trying to say 'did you see that? I stood up on this!' or when she crawls over to us, and sits back on her knees and opens up her arms to be picked up... It just melts your heart. She says Mum mum and Dad dad ... She is just perfect, and brings us worlds of happiness. : )
In other news, I had my 25th birthday again. (I am always 25)... and it was fantastic! I usually am partial to a bit of a sulk-fest on the actual 'oldening day' but this year something_fast made it so special for me that I even forgot to sulk!
First good thing was that he took 2 days off work :) then we spent the whole day in our PJs. : ) He got me so many presents, and made a little nest on the bed of them, guarded by a cute little rodent toy :)
I got...- perfume (that smells like Creme Brule),
- chocolates (my favorite kind),
- an awesome sparkley green belt with a graveyard print on it..
- a Glockenspiel!!! (Thats a Xylophone btw) I have always wanted one, and can play songs already :) I love it!!! ....and
- concert tickets to see the White Lies! Yay!!!
And apparently there are more presents to come even, as something has been ordered and didn't arrive in time .... Yay! Birthday goodness that lasts for weeks
And I got a surprise birthday cake with sparklers! I don't know how he managed to hide that caramely-chocolatey goodness from me all day but he did!
As my birthday was on a weekday, we stayed in that night and he took me out to a beautiful romantic dinner on the weekend where we drank lots of wine and stared lovingly into each others eyes whilst sharing Tiramisu and Creme Caramels, reminding each other just how lucky we are. It was the nicest birthday I have had in many many years.
I also got a fantastic birthday package from milli ! She knows me so well it seems! Not many people could buy me clothes that I like, but she did! Fantastic *hawt* ripped leggings, lime green and black hoop earrings, and a fantastic psychedelic skull handbag with lime green straps OMG!!! I love it!
milli also sent Dahlia 3 GOLLIWOGS! She already bought her one, that Dahlia loved so much, but lost one day out of her pram :( (we hope he found a good home with another baby) So thoughtful of her to send Dahlia another!

I've alway liked astrology, but only in the last week have I ever looked into Chinese astrology... and found out, based on my birth day and year that I am a Fire Snake (I thought that sounded pretty cool !)

I feel sick whenever I think of this, I was physically sick when I found out.
I always get asked where and who did my tattoo work.
I say I got it done in London by Jason Saga.
People usually look disappointed because it is so far away (I live in Australia now).
Now Jason is further away than across any ocean.
I will always be honored to have his work on my skin. He sleeved both my arms and did my complete back.
I have never for one moment in all the years I have had his work regretted any of it, or thought it could be done better. I have never from the moment his tattoo gun touched my skin for my first tattoo, regretted anything.
Every time I look in the mirror, I will see some evidence of him, forever.
I will wear for the rest of my life, about 55 hours of his work. I have not been able to look at it without crying since I found out, it's long sleeves for a while.
This is the man who I enjoyed my first beer with. I did not even drink beer till he handed me my first Becks.
The first picture still in my camera phone is of him, I got a new phone one day I went and saw him, he took it and looked into it and said “how does it work?!” He took a picture of himself looking confused, we both laughed a lot about it. I don't want to look at it now. Because it makes me sad to see pictures, but Im glad it's there.

Ok here we are in all our drunken glory at BlondeVamps Tiki Monsoon Party :)
These photos were taken on my phone, the first few days I had it, so didn't really know how to use it! Please forgive the poor photography skills... probably too drunk to do much better anyway..
I did have a very fun night, BlondeVamp certainly knows how to put on a good par-tay :) :) :)
Many great bands played Ignoring the rain perfectly!, I only remember SEEING No Idea and Schadenfreude, I HEARD Single Lens Reflex, but by that time I was well on the way to WrongTown, and you know, the road to WrongTown is swift.
The ever wonderful Nofun had been there all day...I haven't heard from him since, I think I should make sure he survived the night...
The Birthday girl :) Kiss to Tarley <3 <3 and me, and my favoritest Jojo... We are VERY DRUNK... We were drinking the punch...that should be enough of an excuse for us all...
